Study Group on “Everything isn’t Terrible”
The study group is a self-learning group to enhance understanding and practice of Bowen theory. This study group will read Dr. Kathleen Smith’s new book, “Everything Isn’t Terrible”. which is a very practical, and easy-to-read text on Bowen theory with rich case illustrations, useful questions for self-reflection and engaging, actionable exercises to integrate the learning . There is also a Chinese version of the book. The book comprises 4 parts (18 chapters):
1. Your anxious self
2. Your anxious relationships
3. Your anxious career
4. Your anxious world
Participants will take turns to facilitate the group discussion.
Participants may present a summary of the reading, or a specific concept / emotional process found in the reading, or a case that reflects some specific issue / concept covered in the reading.
