Dr. Martinez interviews Dr. Daniel Papero on jealousy. Jealousy can happen to marital partners, parent and child, and friends.

Dr. Papero described that jealousy is actually a deeply biological phenomenon. but is also has much to do with relationships. How much do we depend on the other person to do things the way we want so that we can feel comfortable? How much we maintain our own interest vs. giving up ours to soothe the other one?

This is a very stimulating talk that unravels many of our dilemmas that we face in our important relationships.

You will get more insights in the following areas:

  • In what situation(s) would jealousy usually occur?
  • What kind of relationship dynamics and individual functioning are involved?
  • Is there any way to avoid or get out of it?
