「家庭事務」這視頻節目是由美國華盛頓特區的「博域家庭研究中心」和哥倫比亞特區大學聯合製作。節目主持人Mariana Martinez探討了在新聞、家長通訊和教師培訓中經常出現的主題:校園欺凌。研究發現由幼稚園至中學十二級(相當於本地中六),每7名學生中就有1名是欺凌者或是被欺凌者。博域家庭系統理論可如何應用於這種社會狀況?

Dan Papero博士自1982年以來一直是博域家庭研究中心的教務委員,撰寫了許多有關家庭系統理論和家庭心理治療等方面的文章和書籍,並於1990年出版了有關家庭系統的基本介紹–《博域家庭系統理論》一書。他是「家庭系統」和「家族企業客戶」的編輯委員會,並經常向各專業團體進行有關家庭系統理論、家庭心理治療、公司和組織運作等主題的演講。

Family Matters is a joint production of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family and the University of the District of Columbia. Mariana Martinez, your host explores a topic that is frequently in the news, parent newsletters, and teacher´s training programs: bullying in school. Studies indicate that 1 out of 7 students in grades k-12 are either a bully or has been a victim of bullying. How can Bowen Theory on family systems be applied to this social problem?

Dr. Dan Papero. Dr. Papero has been a faculty member of the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family since 1982 and has authored numerous articles and book chapters on various aspects of family systems theory and family psychotherapy. In 1990, he published a basic introduction to family systems—Bowen Family Systems Theory. He serves on the editorial board of Family Systems and the Family Business Client and regularly lectures on to various professional groups on topics related to family systems theory, family psychotherapy, and the functioning of corporations and organizations.

Facilitator: Mr. Choi Tin-yam, M.Soc.Sc. (Counselling), R.S.W. Accredited General Mediator (HKMAAL) Mr. Choi is a social worker of an integrated family service centre. Mr. Choi also has extensive experience in working with asylum seekers and their families. Mr. Choi has participated actively in the training programmes of the Family Institute.
