Bowen Family Systems Theory Clinical Supervision Group

As social workers and helping professionals, we are often immersed in the complex dynamics of our clients’ family systems, navigating intricate relationships and emotional tensions. This supervision group is grounded in Bowen Family Systems Theory, providing a space for participants to present real, identified cases. Through the application of core Bowen concepts such as differentiation of self, emotional triangles, and multigenerational transmission, we will enhance systemic thinking skills, explore family interaction patterns, gain insight into deeper emotional processes, discuss clinical intervention strategies, and the counsellor’s management of self in the clinical situation.
